I have just rediscovered a project file of virtual designs I had stashed away.
I am wondering what other project files have been hidden by new and exciting files despite having heaps of virtual quilt designs waiting to be shared.
Three very different borders! Three very different results … in the last one the applique part of the design is rather old fashioned, but the border would fit into a much more modern decor.

I don’t like the first border at all. I do like the second one, but wonder if it might be better with a narrow pink border between it and the main design? Or a darker gray than what you have. For me the border and interior are blending together. Although I like the border on the last design, I don’t think it does the design justice.

Laura,
I love all the borders, but not as they are used here! I think I have a good excuse to spend some time playing in the Old Fashioned Applique project folder.

Perdy perdy perdy. Unlike Laura, I do like the first border but I did have to go to the large resolution to see what the border was. I like the subtle border on the second one and the third one with its triple rail is corralling all the soft flowers. I have missed this lots.

I love the borders, but think all of them could be better used elsewhere or with some changes … not huge ones … just little tweaks!
I have missed your company lots too!

Not sure about the first one, well, the outer border, but the others are beautiful

Thank you for visiting … not much fun showing off if nobody comes for a look!

I like all of the applique designs, but my favorite is the last one-the thinner borders don’t compete with the applique design.

Lovely Judy – I’m drawn to the pinks! So delicate, and the first border looks like shadowed hearts, and my birthday is Valentine’s Day!
Thank you for all the wonderful design inspirations! Oh to only have more hours in each day to play with fabric!

Kathy,
The first border is shadowed hearts … a pieced block set into the border. Thank you for visiting so I have an excuse to keep designing virtual quilts.

I like the second border the best, but all of them are very nice.

Judy,
Thank you … I love the second border but think it needs a bit of a tweak in this design.
