Tangled Irish Chain 19 and 20

Tangled irish chains began when I realised I was mixing up the various Irish Chain blocks …. not just stretching the layout of the two blocks used to create the chains but by mixing Single Irish Chain blocks with Doubles, then Triples

But when you get results like this who wouldn’t want to mix their drinks the blocks?

Which reminds me, I haven’t mixed up the layouts of very many Triple Irish Chain designs!

My (virtual) work is never done!

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.

They both feel so solid and reliable. Nothing fancy or frilly, good utilitarian quilts. Why does this make me happy?

I like them, who says you can’t mix and match
