Burgoyne Surrounded by Irish 34

I like it … not a design I can imagine making up, but interesting anyway.

(Though there isn’t actually an Irish Chain block in this one.)

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.

I love the Burgoyne Surrounded block but I don’t think I would ever be able to make one!

  2. Reminds me of argyle socks. LOL!

Think it should be scottish not Irish – nice design tho..

    • Betty,

I have a bit of Irish and a smidgeon of Scottish blood in my veins, so it is reasonable for me to allow the two to mix. (But not their whisky … then it is straight Scotch every time.)

I *love* this and, as boring as some may find it — I am apparently as boring as they come, cuz I love the piecing aspects of quilting.

I hunted around a bit and couldn’t find the patterns/information sheets. I think perhaps I need a password? If that is true — could I Please Please Please get one?
