After Pompeii 8, 9 and 10

The fans in this design have become Dresden Plates surrounded by Double Wedding Rings!

This series started as a follow on from the very first virtual quilt I shared with the big wide world.

This one looks like it could be a tiled floor, but would make a very interesting quilt

This one I love!

Mind you, as soon as I add something here I can see something I want to change, and this one is no different! Not to say that those changes would make it better!

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.

very interesting, and amazing that it is related to Double Wedding Ring – with the vibrant colours looks totally different – like something you would see in Greece maybe. I agree about the tile floor look. Lots of work if we were actually sewing this!

    • Donna,

If I was making this it would have to be a large quilt to keep it from being too fiddly! It is amazing how few Double Wedding ring segments there are in some of these designs, but they are still very recognisable as part of the familiar pattern.
