TNT Logs 17 and 18

Thick and Thin Log Cabin blocks  …… interesting variation!

Not so sure about this one being interesting …. it could do with some blocks with the light and dark reversed. The first one could be more interesting than it is with some reversed too!

The last couple of weeks have flown by …. time flies when you are having fun.

Two weeks ago I was packing my bags to go to Adelaide for the

Quilter’s Guild of South Australia Inc exhibition,

Festival of Quilts.

The real quilt in the photo is the Best of Show at this year’s exhibition made by Julie Adamson

That’s Julie in front telling how she made it.

( I was going to say she was showing how to make it, but she is waving around her hands without a needle and thread, so I guess she was talking with her hands!)

To see all the winner’s go to the website

There is also a PDF available listing all the quilts which were displayed. Thank you, Candy!

I came away armed and dangerous with new Scissoroos, a tiny Fiskars rotary cutter, assorted machine needles, all from the Scissorman …. and a Olfa rotary cutting mat from The Patchwork Apple!

I ordered a book from the Barossa Quilt and Craft Cottage too …. I am trying to be patient until that comes!

Boy, a lot of real stuff crept into this virtual world today!

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.
