Logs on Point 18 and 19

The second part of virtual Log Cabin quilts show and tell for this week features Logs on Point.

This first one has room for some fancy quilting over the light blocks, or you could add some fancy applique!

A simple, clean, crisp design and I like it a lot.

But then I always love what happens when you turn Log cabin blocks on point.

Can you pick out which blocks are Log Cabin blocks, and which ones are Courthouse Steps?

Something for you to think about until the middle of next week when I will show you more virtual Log Cabin quilts.

And something else to look at …. one of my virtual Log Cabin variations has taken on a real life of its own!

Ooh, I really like the second one. I love playing with the the random rotation in EQ5 and coming up with really cool and unexpected designs using such a simple block.

As always, enjoyed the log cabin retreat and the other two blogs to visit. It is amazing how different the log cabin design can look by just a tweek and a color change.

Nearly finished it. Just 6 background blocks and then some borders. If I can get the ironing and housework done quickly this morning I should be taking a finished photo this evening so keep an eye out in your email box

    Love and hugs Gina xxx
