EQ B 1

The Friday night footy* was on TV and I was looking for something to do to fill in time until bed time. Read a few blogs, opened Electric Quilt 6, and saved about 20 project files. I have deleted most, did a bit of editing on those, and this is the first of the five I saved for you.

Footy is Australian Rules Football (AFL**), which is our national winter sport, and it involves a lot of handballing, bumping, tackles, spitting, marks, and an occasional kick, all carried out using a rugby shaped ball by young blokes wearing no protective gear apart from mouth guards. Sometime in September the season reaches the climax of the Grand Final. I could just spend the next few Friday nights designing quilts!

Another PS **

I am a member of another AFL, the anti footy league! Someone will let me know who wins the grand final anyway, and though that ends the playing season we then go through the draft, pre-season, and trial games before the next season opens.

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.
