Big Pig and Winter Holiday

Big Pig a

Big Pig was a hand out at a retreat quite a few years ago, and is a companion piece to Fat Cat I posted earlier this week.

If all has gone to plan with this holiday I will be getting up early tomorrow to go shopping for the second retreat, then meeting and greeting a second crowd of happy campers for two days of eating, sleeping, talking and laughing, with a few stitches to hold it all together!

And then home on Monday, to hopefully find a guy who is ready to give up the batchelor lifestyle again.

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.

Judy, Big Pig is one of my favorites. When I saw it I thought of my Grandfather. He was an old time farmer and always raised hogs. When I would visit in the summer he would let me name a little pig and take care of it for a couple of weeks. No, I had no idea that little pig would grow up to be breakfast bacon! heehee
