Links to Lessons

This is where I will place links to tutorials I find around the net so I can find them again.

Some are for the methods I use, recommend and teach. Others are good alternatives.

Some are for techniques I use occasionally but don’t teach,

others are for reference in case I might need it someday.

Some do not involve textiles in any form!

Came across your website on “Quilter’s Blog”. Thanks for sharing your info. Sometimes it’s hard to know where to look to find a fix or instructions for a specific problem. I found these instructions very helpful.

I have a problem remembering where to find information ….. I know I have seen it, often I know the answer but don’t have time to explain it fully …… so this is as much for me as it is others. It is a bonus being able to share it though!

  2. Thanks Judy for featuring my tutorial about burying threads on your Lessons link. I’m glad that more people will be able to use the tip. I did notice however that you listed my company as Red Thread Studio.. Although I love working with red thread my company’s correct name is RedBarn Studios.

BTW…this is a great place for all of us to come….lots of good info here. Thanks.

    • Thank you for pointing out the error which I hope is now fixed!

I add links to the lesson page because a link in a regular post is soon relegated to archives. There are always people looking for basic information, and even if I have seen it somehwere I can never remember exactly where so I can give them the link. Now, when I find a good tip or tutorial, I add it to the page, and when the question is asked I can sound like the fount of all knowledge!

Thank you for providing one of the great little tutorials out there.
