Sashing is something I need to explore. You have shown me time and again what an important design element sashing is.
Sashing can simply be the strips that separate sampler and album blocks, but boy! they can do lots more!
Ooooooo! I love…lots of room for feathers!
With so many bear paws around I would have leaves and trees, maybe some fish … I love feathers but so many quilts feature feathers regardless of the blocks used that I try to use anything but feathers. I even like straight lines, and not just ones in the ditch!
