First chance to retreat for the year .. a virtual retreat with some Log Cabin designs.
Well, almost Log Cabin designs … assorted Log Cabin blocks have been mixed with assorted Irish Chain blocks to create a batch of new blocks, and the blocks then have been mixed up to create Irish Log Cabin quilt designs.
Lots of squares and rectangles.
Some of these designs would make interesting tiled floors.
I have an idea that there are many other blocks out there which could be combined with Log Cabin blocks to create new blocks … and of course more quilt designs!
First retreat for the year over … hope the rest of the year is just as restful.
(Like that is going to happen!)
