Triple Irish Chain 4, 5 and 6


This is the newest of the project files where I have been playing with Irish Chain blocks.

I might have to look at something to mix with this … apart from Burgoyne Surrounded and other Irish Chain blocks … could always add some applique, but that is the obvious choice when there are empty spaces in a design if you don’t want to leave it clear for quilting to shine at the next step..

I am not thrilled with the design, but like the little splash of colour where the alternate blocks meet.

Any suggestions for other pieced blocks to mix with Triple Irish Chain blocks are welcome.

    I actually like the middle one a lot. You could do some nice quilting in the white space.
