A layout for Grannies Fan blocks, with some plain squares.
This sort of layout would be useful if you run out of fabric scraps for the spokes of the fan, which probably won’t ever happen, or when you get sick of making the same block over and over again. Also great to show off the quilting.
I really find making numerous identical blocks just so boring. There are so many different blocks so why make 80 identical ones? After all, variety is the spice of life.
