I have been playing with the Best China again. I set out to design a table runner, but that didn’t work as well as I had liked, so I changed the setting and did some re-drawing and it became a table topper.
The idea of a table runner featuring the best china hasn’t run away yet, but it will take a while to draw up the appliques again. The lightbulb moment I had during the night is for a collection of plates laid out on the runner. Sounds simple, so it will probably take forever to design, but I might just make it because it will give me a chance to play with the rotary cutter for cutting circles.
